One of my favorite summer music festivals is FloydFest and this year’s lineup is one of its most eclectic ever assembled for this multi-day world music festival, FloydFest 17 — FREEDOM.
But don’t take my word for it. TIME Magazine, Fox News and FlightNetwork, among many others, have lauded this festival that will welcome more than 100 acts on nine stages over five days nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The 17th annual event will feature Thievery Corporation, Michael Franti, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Rising Appalachia, Leftover Salmon, Steel Pulse, Railroad Earth, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, The Steel Wheels, Xavier Rudd, Shovels and Rope, White Denim, TAUK, Jon Stickley Trio, The Tillers, David and Mason Via and many more.
FloydFest is located at Milepost 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and tickets are available by visiting FloydFest.com.
