My 2017 Grammy picks and predictions

I did this last year and if you take peek here you’ll find that for the most part (OK about half the time), my picks and predictions were spot on. Who should win: Maren Morris

Best rock performance
Who should win: Alabama Shakes for “Joe”
Who will win: Bowie for “Blackstar”
Who should win: Miranda Lambert for “Vice”
Who will win: Carrie Underwood for “Church Bells”
Best country song
Who will win: Maren Morris for “My Church”
Who should win: Lori McKenna for “Humble and Kind”
Best country album

Who should win: This is one tough category. I think it’s a toss up between Rhiannon Giddens, Sarah Jarosz and Lori McKenna.

Best American Roots Song
Who should win: Lori McKenna for “Wreck You”
Who will win: Vince Gill for “Kid Sister”
Best Americana album
Who should win: Lori McKenna for “The Bird and The Rifle”
Who will win: The Avett Brothers for “True Sadness”
Best folk
Who should win: Sarah Jarosz for “Undercurrent”
Who will win: Judy Collins for “Silver Skies Blue”
