The 13th annual Fall Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance will feature more than 50 bands and performers on two big outdoor stages, a large dance tent and a more intimate Cabaret Tent on Oct. 6-9 in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
Located on 72 acres of farmland in Chatham County, North Carolina, just down the road from Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Durham, Burlington and Greensboro. There will also be local crafts, delicious food, many children’s activities, healing arts practitioners, dancing and music workshops, environmental sustainability forums and much more in a family-friendly setting, according to the event’s Facebook page.

Children’s performances include Paperhand Puppet Intervention, Big Bang Boom, Carolina Pine Cones, Big Wonderful Variety Show, Sisters’ Voices, Triangle Home Nursery and Casey’s Laugh & Learn.
